Concept & Features: Elektrik Eel required a rebrand and redesign of its website and identity in order to boost sales and the longevity of its music event. The brief necessitated for a comprehensive redesign of the logo and website, in addition to research and implementation of user experience strategy, methodology, and best practises. Understanding competing strategies were critical for removing unnecessary elements and demonstrating how a creative strategic vision may surpass the competition while achieving the brief's criteria. The proposed logo design illustrates the energy and flair of this company's musical event by exploring innovative and stimulating applications of the typeface. The icon's colour structure was kept simple, enabling the highlighted lightning bolt formations to take the stage. The redesigned website is now more user-friendly, with simple navigation devised and implemented to allow for easy access to ticket sales and event information. The website, like the logo, is imbued with the brand's personality, allowing for a vivid and engaging site that entices the spectator to participate. Software: - Illustrator - Photoshop
